Discipline Policy

The objective of disciplining any student is to help the student develop and maintain self-control, respect for others and socially acceptable behaviour. Discipline acts like a bridge between goals and accomplishment.

The discipline policy is applicable to all students which help them to become responsible citizens.

Coverage of discipline policy:

• Junk food
• Uniform
• Work habits (homework, classwork, assignments)
• Bringing electronic gadgets, toys
• Misbehaviour
• Bullying – (physical, social, verbal, emotional)

Disciplinary actions:

1. Warning
2. Sending the student out for a very short duration
3. Taking away the privileges given to a student( for example- not allowing to go for sports or activity)
4. Warning given by Principal
5. Detention during the school hours ( spending school hours in Principal’s office)
6. Detention after school hours
7. Suspension from school for a definite period (3 days to 10 days)
8. Dismissal from school
